HOW WE ASSIST PARENTS AND CHILDREN IN OVERCOMING SUCH BARRIERS

Our staff members provide socioemotional support and understanding to single mothers who are struggling to make ends meet. Through our Community & Youth Support Program, our agency offers therapeutic services which facilitate behavioral and financial change. Our childcare center provides a platform for low-income parents and children to discuss and talk about healthier ways of resolving personal problems, while also providing them with the therapeutic tools necessary to develop more positive thinking patterns. This process can be focused on specific issues (e.g., financial struggles and substance abuse) or broader patterns of thinking and behavioral problems.
